Updated Venting Guidelines

Hello everyone! I ask that you read these rules very carefully, as some may be confusing and/or new.

As many of you know, TPC has a vent chat for all members. This vent chat is a safe space for everyone. It's important to be cautious of those rules in order to maintain the environment. Here are the guidelines:

- Please use trigger warnings for topics such as death, vomit, abuse, s/a, self-harm, and suicide if mentioned (although the last four are not things you should be discussing), and a warning for caps.

- Please do not discuss self-harm, suicide, s/a, abuse, or other triggering topics. See last rule for further guidance.

- Please keep cursing to a minimum. Cursing is allowed, but please don’t aggressively/repetitively curse.

- Please keep inappropriate topics away from the chat, specifically sexual related topics/implications.

- Please keep personal discussions away, as well as directed posts. People can often tell when posts are directed to them, and it can be incredibly hurtful.

- Please use tonetags when needed (ex. when referring to someone as "you", use /nbh), even if you don't prefer using them.

- Please do not spam. Putting the same message in several times also counts as spam. Spam takes attention away from those who need it.

- Most importantly, if you are dealing with extreme emotions/situations, such as suicidal thoughts/behaviors, self harm thoughts/behaviors, eating disorders, etc, please direct your vent to https://theprideclub.wixsite.com/pride/profile/venting/profile. All other information is provided there. This chat is fully confidential.
